Questions, answered.
What's free, exactly?
Everything the scanner writes: structural documentation extracted from your code, plus the task board and the web app. It's deterministic — no LLM, no token cost, free forever.
Do you charge for AI tokens?
No. Augmentation runs on your own AI subscription (Claude, Cursor…). SonIQ never marks up tokens.
Does my source code leave my machine?
Yes, the way it does with a git host. The soniq daemon sends your project's files to SonIQ; they are scanned and stored there so the documentation can cite and re-check the code. Your code stays yours: we claim no rights to it and do not train AI models on it. Delete the project and its files and knowledge go with it. Knowledge entries, tasks and notes live in a database our provider (Neon) encrypts at rest; the copy of your repository is kept on our hosting provider's (Railway) storage. SonIQ adds no encryption layer of its own.
Which operating systems?
macOS and Linux. On Windows, run soniq under WSL: the local daemon has no Windows support yet. The web app works in any browser.
When does Pro open?
Together with billing — join the waitlist and we will write when it does. Until then every account is on Free: the structural docs and the board. There is no Pro trial yet; if we offer one, its terms will be published before it starts.
Which agents does SonIQ work with?
Any MCP client that speaks the protocol. Claude Code is configured automatically by soniq init; Cursor, Codex and others take one manual config block. The bridge runs as a local stdio process your client launches — no ports to open.
Can I cancel any time?
Pro is not on sale yet, so there is nothing to cancel today. Once it opens you will be able to cancel at any time; the free structural layer keeps working and billing stops at the end of the cycle.
Who handles payments?
Paddle, as merchant of record. They handle checkout, invoices, VAT and sales tax worldwide — we never see your card details.
Give your AI a real place to work.
Free forever for the structural layer. Pro, for when your agents start writing, is coming soon. No card to start.
